Possibilities
For most of us possibilities are not something we ever seriously consider.
We tend to live with thoughts of things not working out for us as opposed to the opposite: things working out well.
Did you know that if you think you can or think you can't, either way you are right?
There is so much potential that lies within all of us that is largely untapped. I believe this is because we are not aware of how to access it, let alone use it fully. It is widely considered that most of our minds are underutilised by most of us.
As survivors this is more likely than unlikely.
Partly because our conditioning meant we could not trust what our mind was telling us and partly because we didn't think we were worthy of good things happening in our lives. What we now know to be true is that both things were false, and in fact this is my wish for you; That you can trust what your instinct is telling you and that you are also more than worthy of good things happening in your life.
The only thing stopping you is what you tell yourself. My question then becomes; what are your limiting statements? What are your limiting beliefs? And the big one, what is your underlying core belief about yourself?
Our core belief comes from our experiences including both our interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. By that I mean the relationship you have with yourself, as well as the relationships you have with others. As a survivor both types of relationships will feel challenging and that you are less than.
It is time to utilise the knowledge the mind contains, and the power that lies therein. There are so many of us out there who suffer needlessly and endlessly, because we have a repetitive barrage of negative or limiting self-talk going on, and on.
The good news, is that there is possibility for this to change and impact your life in ways you had not previously considered possible. Imagine a reality where you let go and sink into trust and safety, having the full knowledge and awareness that you are okay, that your life is going to be fine, and that you are held in such high esteem by people in both the seen and unseen realms.
The only thing stopping you from achieving this much easier way of functioning, is what your mind is telling you. If you are feeling anxious, negative and lacking confidence, the chances are your mind is in a pattern of behaviour that is not serving you, and where there are no possibilities.
Start today to do some thought replacing, this simply means when a negative thought comes into your mind, replace it with the exact opposite thought and add the feeling you might experience should that eventuate. For example, you might be worried you're going to be late for work. Place into your mind an image of you being early, or on time and feeling happy about that. The message to the subconscious mind becomes; that is possible. Just in case you were wondering, a little-known fact is that the subconscious mind is much more powerful than the conscious mind. It is sometimes compared to a car and the engine that drives the car.
Your subconscious mind is the engine.
Once you know this, and how it works in your life; you cannot unknow it.
Would it not be worth implementing this into your experiences and be giving life the opportunity of driving in a way that serves you, so that you are happy and fulfilled?
